AutoMine® Machine Fleet

AutoMine® Machine Fleet, the third of three levels of autonomous underground drilling feature packages for Sandvik i-series drills, allowing tele-remote operation for up to three drills in one area where loaders or truck can operate. Advanced features added such as traffic management and safety gates brings seamless operation, ensuring better utilization of equipment for increased safety and productivity.

Enhanced operator safety

AutoMine® Machine Fleet enables tele-remote control and supervision of multiple underground drill rigs, improving operator safety and performance. The system offers flexibility to operate from an AutoMine® chair or console. Onboard components, such as Access Protector 2, enhance safety by preventing personnel from entering the machine area during automation or remote mode.
Reduce equipment damage

AutoMine® for underground drill reduces equipment damage and lowers maintenance costs due to less wear and tear with automated functions. The onboard camera system provides clear visibility and audio stream, allowing remote operators to remain aware of obstacles around the rig. The flexible installation positions of the onboard camera system enable optimal visibility and a wide range of viewing angles while audio stream allows more realistic and informative scene over drilling operation
Increased productivity

With AutoMine® Machine Fleet, operators can control and supervise multiple machines with tele-remote ring-to-ring tramming feature in the same area with loaders or trucks, achieving less downtime and ensuring consistently high performance and increased production hours. The system allows continuous operations with automated drilling cycles through breaks and shift changes. Automated features improve speed and accuracy in underground drilling operation.
