AutoMine® Control Room

AutoMine® Control Room package is the second of three levels of autonomous surface drilling feature packages. This package introduces features to make control room operation more efficient, safer and easier for one operator to manage two or three rigs from a control room. The system includes an Access Control System at the bench, enabling safe approach for staff accessing the rig or AOZ (Autonomous Operating Zone).

Improved operator safety and comfort

Mine drilling operations could be performed remotely from a comfortable and safe control room without breaks or interruptions, even when the rig is in a hazardous environment. The solution eliminates exposure to noise, dust and vibration, improving safety for operators and mine personnel.
Reduced equipment damage

AutoMine® Control Room package reduces equipment damage and lowers maintenance costs due to less wear and tear with automated functions. The optional Obstacle Detection System (ODS) provides improved awareness of obstacles around the rig for remote operators, reducing the risks of damage to equipment.
Continuous operations

The system provides continuous drilling over shift changes and breaks, maximizing productivity even in difficult conditions. Consistent output increases efficiency with accurate drilling performance for easier blasting and improved fragmentation.
Multi-machine control

The system's fleet display allows the operator to view all connected rigs, making it easy to switch control between machines. Multiple camera views from the rigs are displayed on large touch screens with high quality audio for improved drilling performance and increased productivity.
