The Versabolt™ is designed for ground support conditions that are subject to static or dynamic stresses where conventional bolting techniques are too rigid.

Specialized steel
The bolt is made from specialized steel with both high tensile strength and elongation properties.

Absorbs energy
In the first phase of loading the bolt will behave similarly to resin rebar. When the yield point is exceeded the steel plastically deforms which allows for controlled deformation of the rock mass. This allows the bolt to absorb the energy of a rock burst or squeezing ground.
