Top hammer longhole drill rigs

Sandvik DL431 Longhole drill rig

Sandvik top hammer longhole drills are capable of drilling ø64-127 mm holes up to 54 m in length in mechanized and automated underground mining operations, where the target is to maximize ore recovery and minimize dilution with drilling of production or service support holes accurately and according to the plan.

The DL300- and DL400-series drills are mounted on frame-steered and diesel powered carriers and equipped with Sandvik rock drills, drilling modules, longhole booms and FOPS/ROPS certified operator stations for maximum performance, safety, reliability and total drilling economy. The 360° feed rotation and wide swing/tilt angles make the units suitable for most mining methods and various drilling applications. Instrumentation and data drilling with various automation options allow maximum performance with the highest levels of drilling accuracy.
