DA201 Pipe handlers
Sandvik DA201 is a self-contained, track-mounted pipe handler for mechanized drill pipes handling in ITH longhole drilling. It is equipped with a removable pipe cassette, telescopic boom, manipulator arm with rotary actuators, control system and an onboard diesel engine for tramming and set-up.

Safety first
Mechanized pipe handling leads to reduced operator fatigue and optimum safety during operations. When drilling, the DA201 is powered by the ITH drill’s electric hydraulic pump drive through umbilical hydraulic hoses enabling all pipe manipulation functions without diesel emissions.

Greater productivity
It is controlled by a portable remote panel to ensure enhanced productivity. Efficient handling of drill pipes minimizes the time needed, thereby increasing drilling capacity.

Performs well in compact spaces
The equipment’s compact size enables mechanized drilling in small drifts where the use of large units is not possible.
