Rotary drilling pipes
A complete drill string includes at least one drill pipe. Drill pipes are made from joining a pin end tool joint, a mid-body tube and box end tool joint togehter.
Depending on the hardness and abrasiveness of the rock being drilled there are different grades of tube raw material used in the manufacturing of the drill pipes. These include alloy grade steel for hard and abrasive ground conditions while a mild steel tube is utilized in softer or less abrasive applications.
