Sandvik has decided to establish a new business area, Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP), as of 1 January 2021. The new business area will consist of the current Crushing and Screening division, which today is part of the Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology business area.

Gill Rock Drill Company Inc. will be supplying Sandvik’s comprehensive range of boom drills, rock tools and full aftermarket support for customers in the states located in New Jersey and counties of Maryland, Virginia and Eastern Pennsylvania, effective from June 20, 2020.

Sandvik has signed an agreement to divest its Exploration business to Drillman, a subsidiary of the M Group of companies, which is 100% owned and operated in Australia. Drillman provide equipment and technical support to the Geotechnical, Mineral Exploration, Horizontal, Directional and Upstream Gas Drilling sectors, among others.

First QI442 HS in China provides multifunctional solution

Guangdong based Long Ying Construction Engineering Ltd has become the first customer in China to purchase Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens’ revolutionary QI442 HS. This advanced HSI (Horizontal Shaft Impact) crusher is able to provide highly accurate material reduction at high rates of throughput. Additionally, through the use of Sandvik’s advanced modular hanging screen, it is also able to produce up to three products where and when required.
