Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is continuing the global rollout of its Remote Monitoring Service, a robust solution that analyzes underground mining equipment data to identify abnormalities and develop predictive solutions to increase uptime and reduce operating costs.
After successful customer launches in Canada, the United States and Australia this year, Sandvik introduced Remote Monitoring Service at MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® 2021 in Las Vegas. The powerful solution translates the vast amounts of monitoring and status data acquired from underground mining equipment into actionable recommendations for the continuous improvement of mining operations. Remote Monitoring Service delivers value for both large and small operations and for all types of underground production equipment, with plans to add surface mining equipment in the near future.
The advanced service combines access to global, comprehensive reference data with Sandvik’s digital expertise and in-depth analytics capabilities, making the service, unique, reliable and also sustainable. Remote Monitoring Service helps customers to achieve larger tonnage output with fewer emissions while extending the life of the equipment and its components.
